It is so important to work on our weaknesses and to improve those areas. CrossFit is functional fitness aimed at the athlete who strives to be good at many things. If you want to be the best marathoner then that should be your focus, though there is an argument that by doing CF workouts as Rx'd and adding in endurance work you can achieve the same result.
