Today the men and women who serve in the military are the front line maintaining that freedom. We project the nation's power through them and ensure that the enemy stays far away.
Sometimes our soliders, sailors and marines are captured and held by enemy forces. Sometimes they don't come home.
Sometimes.
SGT Bowe Bergdahl, USA is one of those soliders.
Saturday, June 30, marked three years since a US soldier was captured by the Taliban in Eastern Afghanistan. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl — now 26 years old — is the nation's only soldier known to be in enemy hands.
